'Aching Absence' is a piece from my Little Monsters series, and is a tribute to the feeling of loss that we all experience at times in life. The black pit in the characters stomach interrupts the intricate cane pattern, and deforms the body as the character tries to process the sensation. This powerful piece is a statement sculpture that brings a unique presence to any collection.
